Some of The Charity Guild's disabled and elderly clients must have family, neighbors, or home helpers pick up their groceries at the Food Pantry.
This isn't always convenient, and in some cases, these special-needs clients struggle to make the necessary arrangements to receive their groceries at all.
Going the Extra Mile
There was a genuine need in our client base, so we reached out to our supporters for help.
Thanks to a grant from the Howard Home Foundation in Brockton, we were able to implement our new Pantry Delivery Program in 2010!
Now our special-needs clients have their allotment of groceries delivered to their doorsteps every month.
